GMF works around the world to multiply communities of believers that are healthy, worshipping together, self-supporting, reaching out to the lost, and discipling new believers. This is church planting.
Approaches and methods of church planting vary in different areas of the work, but the goal remains the same: making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded (from Matthew 28:19-20).
Reaching Those Who have Never Heard the Gospel
GMF works with national partners to plant churches of various models around the globe to reach 1.8 billion people who have not yet heard the gospel.
GMF realizes the United States has become a new mission filed with over 200 million people uninvolved with a local church, and sponsors network partners in planting churches.
Mission team assists nationals in building their new worship center in South Africa.
New church plants often start from small group Bible studies in homes.
