Strengthening Ongoing Ministries
The needs of all our Network participants are varied and great. For example, one ministry needs construction volunteers to build a prayer hut [church building] in each village where a week long tent revival is planned. This gives a permanent presence for the discipling of new converts and the establishment of a church. Another ministry can use volunteers to multiply their efforts through building relationships with nationals. As westerners, we possess many skills that the under-developed world is hungry for. These skills can be a means to open doors for sharing God's Love.
In addition, when a GMF volunteer uses his/her resources to strengthen one of the specific ministries of our GMFnetwork, the volunteer finds that his/her own faith and walk with God are strengthened as well. |

Generating Support for National Workers
Missionaries are deeply committed people who have made great sacrifices to be on mission for God. It is an understatement to say that these people are living in challenging circumstances. While they have a unique access to unreached people, they also face disappointments, despair, and sometimes even death. Through short term mission trips, frequent correspondence, and financial assistance GMFfellowship seeks to encourage these God sent people who often feel isolated in their work.

Targeting Unengaged People Groups
Throughout the scriptures God commands us to preach the Gospel to all the nations. There are currently over one thousand people groups where less than two percent would be considered Christian. This group represents over one billion people. There are also over one hundred, forty-eight unengaged people groups, with no Scripture, no missionaries and no access to the Gospel. It is the goal of GMFfellowship to pray, conduct research, and participate in exploratory trips to locate and connect with all of these who have not heard the Good News. GMF has partners who are actively involved in leading these efforts and GMF is working to generate support for their work.

Emergency & Disaster Relief
Global Ministries Fellowship responds to emergencies that puts at great risk the survival, protection, and well-being of significant numbers of people, where addressing the needs and well-being of those individuals is beyond their indigenous coping capacity, and where Global Ministries Fellowship is able to mobilize the financial and human resources to take urgent action on their behalf.
Global Ministries Fellowship’s emergency policies are based on the humanitarian imperative that people affected by an emergency have a right to protection and assistance. It’s also based on the spirit of Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” An example of how GMF’s emergency relief efforts work is found in its efforts following the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia. Of all the countries hit by the tsunami, Indonesia suffered the highest loss of life and the most devastating damage to its economy. More that 126,000 people lost their lives and as many as 92,000 farms and small enterprises were partially or wholly destroyed. Since January, 2005, GMF has mobilized over 300 individuals and 39 churches in disaster relief and reconstruction efforts on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. As a result of these efforts, over $1,000,000.00 has been raised and invested in rebuilding the families and lives of these people. |

Hunger Relief
Over 17 million children die each year from malnutrition or starvation. How does Global Ministries Fellowship help to alleviate this tragedy?
GMF mobilizes individuals, communities, churches, and partner organizations to address the root causes of hunger in different communities, usually targeting the most vulnerable, young children and their mothers. We work with ministry initiatives whose goal it is to develop a specific plan that aims to solve the most pressing food problems of a particular people group. Monetary resources are then accumulated and disseminated by GMF to onsite ministry partners who in turn manage feeding programs focused on feeding the people of a particular village or community.
GMF carefully targets where food is distributed, as has been the case in Mozambique and South Africa. Our ministry partners have had great success improving agricultural production and household nutrition while working in the midst of these people groups. You can help Global Ministries Fellowship in its efforts to ensure that poor and disadvantaged children and their families are free from hunger. Donate now to support our work around the world. |

Family Restoration
Global Ministries Fellowship partners with organizations that provide more than just food, clean water, medical care, and education. Some of our ministry partners also provide programs that are designed to have an impact on entire communities by involving parents and children in family restoration workshops and clinics.
An example of this type of effort is found in two of our supported children’s homes in Recife, Brazil. These children’s homes now have over 30 children in residence, with over 50 having been returned to live with their families as a result of our “Family Restoration Programs.” In addition, 140 youth from the local community are also taking part in our Vocational Training Center Programs. Courses provided through the School are:
With the social and economic challenges that face most Brazilian families in mind, the ministries of “Rama” and “Valley of our Savior” children’s homes desire to re-unite street children with their families. The goal of this great ministry is to provide a support system for children and their parents to re-unite through family visits, counseling, regular family seminars, quality education, transportation to school & church, vocational training, youth camps, and unconditional love. God’s hand is evident in this region of the world as we see homes being restored and relationships being reunited. Many angry and frustrated kids, who were once abandoned, now feel a sense of responsibility to help and lead in the healing process within their own families. |
