Strengthening Frontline Ministries |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The best word-picture to define GMFnetwork is an umbrella. An umbrella offers protection, security, and comfort for those who gather under its covering. GMFnetwork is simply that; a covering that adds those exact elements to each ministry that gathers under its canopy. GMFnetwork is a group of faith-based, gospel outreach ministries. Each has a specific calling and each is committed to the task God has called them to. Some are sending groups, others are ministries of national Christians, and others are target specific people groups or countries. Each group has its unique identity or task, but all share in the common goal of reaching the unreached world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Read news flash about the Stephen Olford Project |

The value of the GMFnetwork to each of its participating organizations is in the services and support it provides (see listing of services below). The greatest challenge facing most of these organizations is not in the work that God has called them to, but in the mechanics and maintenance of keeping their organization afloat. In fact, were it not for the umbrella provided to these organizations by GMF, most would stay distracted from their ministry objectives by having to stay on top of things like: IRS reporting, insurance procurement, promotional demands, and other day to day operations. Likewise, it is important to understand that each of these organizations brings its own uniqueness to the GMFnetwork. While one group is focused on reaching a people group through the media, another might be focused on using medical doctors to open the doors for Christian workers to enter a closed country. That’s why it is important for GMF to create platforms to expand the awareness of these ministries. They each are worthy of prayer and financial support as well as participation by individual Christians and churches. Support can be directed to these ministries by clicking on the DONATE icon upper left of the page.

Led by Stephen Olford’s widow Heather Olford and his son Dr. David Olford, the mission of this ministry is to reproduce and disseminate Stephen Olford’s archives of expository preaching and teaching material to international pastors, church leaders, and teachers all around the globe. This is a developmental, gospel centered project which has the potential of being a Great Commission ministry multiplier to an exponential degree, through the training and equipping of national church leaders who will then use these expository preaching materials to reach their own kindred ethnos groups with the unadulterated everlasting Gospel of Christ.

Surrendered Life Ministries (SLM), led by Dale Shows, exists to help people understand their need to become fully satisfieded in Christ. As a branch finds satisfaction in the vine alone, so we were made to find satisfaction in Christ alone. Also, just as a branch is only surrendered to the vine, we were made to be absolutely surrendered to Christ. SLM uses the following venues to share the message of surrender: Expository Preaching in pulpit supply and revivals, Surrendered Life Conferences designed to immerse a church family in the understanding and reality of who they are in Christ, and Surrendered Life Marriage Conferences. Mission Leader Ministries is committed to two ministries: 1. Guiding churches, large and small, toward maximum impact in Missions. Since the onset of a mission and church plant resources site (www.missionleader.com) churches have been asking for help. "Help me setup a mission committee...help me move my church toward a mission offering...help me move my church toward a people group...help me to know how to lead out in missions". 2. Personally increasing their family's direct impact in the unengaged world. God called us to impact the least reached people with the Gospel. Their commitment is to raise support so they can do more direct missions in Afghanistan, where God has given favor, experience, and a realm of influence.
This new and innovative ministry is focused on finding and targeting some of the smallest and most remote people groups who have previously had no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. David Weston is known as one of the top mission strategists for Unreached People Groups in the world. His skills are routinely put to the test as he works with churches in trying to identify specific unreached groups that he and the partnering church can target and work with. This process includes guiding the church as they research, strategize, engage, witness to, and ultimately plant churches in the targeted area.
GMF Network Partner, Robinson Rimun and his wife, Yulje, minister among foreigners and nationals in Semarang, Indonesia. The Rimuns spent several years in Memphis, TN while Robinson studied at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. During this time they were faithful members at Bellevue Baptist Church. He wants to use these free classes as a tool to reach out to the community. |
