Connecting the Blessed with the Broken
. . . those who have more than they need with those who need more than they have
Millions are trapped in an ongoing generational cycle of poverty. GMF works to empower the marginalized and least cared for in both domestic and international populations to provide an escape from the grasp of poverty. Programs provide empowerment, rather than entitlement, leading to an opportunity for a healthy and dignified life. Such programs include job training for the marginalized, education for orphaned and impoverished children, community resources, and social and educational services for residents in GMF owned multifamily housing communities.
Over 3500 people groups are either unengaged or unreached. An unengaged people group is one with no Scripture, no missionaries, and no access to the Gospel. An unreached people group is defined as a people group in which less than two percent would be considered Christian. These groups represent over one billion people. It is GMF's goal to pray, conduct research, meet needs, and connect with all of these who have not heard the Good News.
Around the world God is raising up men to share His message, but many are without training. Many are without funds. Hearts are willing, yearning to know more and to effectively reach others for Jesus Christ. GMF seeks to equip these individuals through several training venues. "Equipped" implies having the education, resources, and tools to succeed in a task or role. For missionaries and national church leaders around the world, the greatest challenge is the mechanics and maintenance of keeping their organization afloat. GMF helps equip GMF Network partners with administrative services and support.
